The Day of The Knights, Publish America, 2009.                                            This epic novel spans multiple decades in Italy and America and is told in three parts.  The gripping psychological crime story pits Italian teenage savant Domenico Patriani, a homophobic and religious-fanatic serial killer serving the alll-powerful entity of his own creation: "Godsatan!"  versus noble inner-city American Thomas "Tank" Tooley, an athlete, policeman shot and disabled in the line of duty, volunteer firefighter and, lastly, an investigative reporter on the hunt for the killer.  The brilliant Domenico manages to become a church deacon for his hated brother Father Marcello at Christ Church, where Tank is a parisihioner.  The twisting and bizarre climax unfolds in the church in parallel events to the tragedy occuring at Ground Zero, where Tank goes on to become a hero.

Several intense sub-plots tell of the complex love stories and lives of members of the Patriani and Tooley families, providing warm counterpoints to the savagery, and providing insights into how the character development and moral-compasses of Domenico and Tank were forged.
